What is PlayKami?

PlayKami is an on-chain trading card game (TCG) collectibles platform built around one simple loop:

Fund your account → Open packs → Own or trade → (Optionally) Redeem the physical cards

How PlayKami is different​

Unlike traditional "blind box" platforms, PlayKami is designed so that:

  • Odds are transparent - EV based which can be verified
  • Ownership is provable on-chain - mapped to each on-chain address
  • The physical card is vaulted while you trade the on-chain digital representation
  • Redemption is always your choice - ship it to yourself whenever you want

Who is PlayKami for?​

Collectors​

  • Those who want access to cards/slabs without worrying about fakes or dealing with packaging, listing, and shipping
  • Once tokenized, all cards can be globally traded instantly
  • Those who want to build a portfolio of cards (complete various sets) and trade quickly

Traders​

  • Want liquid exposure to real cards that are tokenized
  • Want transparent pricing, faster settlement, and a single place to buy/sell
  • Don't necessarily want to own digital/physical cards but want to speculate on them

Why PlayKami is the future of digital collectibles​

Collectibles have always been about nostalgic thrills + ownership + bragging rights to get a chase card.

The problem is: most "digital collectibles" today don't feel like real collecting, and most "IRL gacha / mystery bags" don't feel fair.

PlayKami sits in the middle and fixes the parts that break trust.

The core problems we're solving​

IRL gacha / mystery bags are "buying blind"​

If you've ever bought an IRL mystery bag, wheel spin, or "random pack" (oripa) from a seller:

  • You can't verify if the chase cards are still inside (or already pulled)
  • There are often no published odds and no visibility into remaining inventory
  • Sellers can swap the pool, "replace" it, or quietly run out of hits and you'd never know

Marketplaces are optimized for listings, not trust​

Traditional marketplaces (like eBay) are great for searching for cards, but collecting has extra problems:

  • Authenticity + condition disputes (photos don't show everything)
  • Counterfeit/switched items

What PlayKami does differently​

Verifiable pulls (proof your pack was fair)​

  • Every pack opening has a Pack Verifier: think of it like a receipt + replay button

  • The outcome is locked before you open
  • After you open, you can re-run the draw and confirm it matched the committed result

Live remaining rewards + transparent odds​

Before you open, you can see:

  • What's still actually in the pool
  • The probabilities and expected value
  • How that changes as items get pulled
  • Market prices and the expected value logic, updated as market data moves

The "real asset" part​

Every card in PlayKami maps to a real physical asset:

  • The physical is stored in our custody partner vault (see Vaulting & Custody)
  • The on-chain asset represents the right to redeem that specific physical item, subject to our terms
